University of Essex - Essex Business School - Two Positions Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader in Management
The Management, Marketing and Organisation Group (MMO) at Essex Business School (EBS) has an international reputation for its leading edge research into the interface of business and society, sustainability, International HRM, and critical management studies. To further develop our teaching, research and partnership activities, we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Reader in Management. EBS was ranked as a Top 25 business school out of over 100 UK business schools in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014. More than two-thirds of our research is rated ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’.
The appointment to this post is intended to extend the range of teaching and research offered both at our Colchester Campus and in collaboration with our Kaplan Singapore international partnership, and to contribute to the research profile of the MMO group.

Applicants at Lecturer level should have a PhD in Management or other specialism related to the area of the post (or be close to completing one), evidence of published research output of peer-reviewed international quality, and experience of successfully teaching in the area of business and management, commensurate with the post being applied for.
Applicants at Senior Lecturer and Reader level should have a PhD in Management or specialism related to the area of the post, significant teaching experience and a strong record of high quality research publications in world leading journals. A proven track record of raising research funds is also essential. In addition, you should have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and a capability for dissemination of research to different audiences and ideally experience of working in educational partnership arrangements.
