A new research project on "Hybrid Publishing: Scholarly Communications in the Digital Age" has recently been kicked off at Leuphana University Lüneburg. As part of the project, we are now advertising the following position:
http://www.leuphana.de/aktuell/ausschre ... ation.html
The position would be suitable for a junior researcher wanting to embark upon doctoral research. As part of this 50% position, the researcher would be actively engaged in the research project, e.g. via participation in workshops and reading groups, organising a conference, and potentially a practical involvement in setting up a digital platform for scholarly publishing and an open access university press. The other half of their time could be spend working towards a PhD on a related topic - ideally of course this would be closely linked to the research project.
We would particularly like to encourage researchers from within organisation studies and related fields, with an interest in media theory and network culture, to apply. They would join Prof. Timon Beyes and myself (Armin Beverungen), with a similar background, in developing a research project on media and organisation. The Centre for Digital Cultures, and the Institute for the Culture and Aesthetics of Digital Media, provide the wider institutional environment for this.
