Dear All,
Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies (LLIDS,
https://ellids.com/) has opened the Call for Papers for the Forum Section for Volume 7, where we publish reflective, personal pieces in relation to the theme of the Volume. I am writing to invite you to contribute to the same.
The radical form of the Forum supplements the traditional research papers, encouraging contributors to experiment with styles outside academic writing to tease out the intricacies of pedagogy, research, and lived experience. You can read some of the work we have published in the Forum sections in the previous Issues here:
https://ellids.com/research/forum/.
We would like to read about experience working on the topics related to urban life, labour and leisure, and believe that the perspectives and journeys of this group, through research, academia, and practice, can illustrate how theory and lived experience are intertwined, and add a unique dimension to the discourse we are trying to create through this Volume.
Please go through the Open CFP for the Forum here:
https://ellids.com/announcements/call-for-forums/.
There have been four Call for Papers for the Volume that approaches this theme through four different perspectives.
- Mapping Body Space Continuum in Urbanscapes -
https://ellids.com/announcements/mappin ... banscapes/
- Power in Urbanscapes: Rethinking Spatiality and Sociality -
https://ellids.com/announcements/power- ... sociality/
- Planned, Unplanned, and the In-between: Interactions of Architecture, Space, and Experience -
https://ellids.com/announcements/planne ... xperience/
- Embodied Spaces: Digital Reconfigurations of Experience -
https://ellids.com/announcements/embodi ... xperience/
We are accepting submissions for the Forum till 30th June 2026. The word limit for the Forum is between 2000 and 4000 words. You can find other details and guidelines for submission here:
